Abandoned Places Vol I Homes in Virginia : sometimes stumbling across scenes does feel like a set up. However, there isn’t anything to be done about it.
Lost places often become rendered completely unusable. Mostly due to exposure and lack of maintenance. Dead animals often seem to occur at, in or around desolate areas. The crumbling structure of this house is missing pieces of floor and chunks out of wall.
Lastly, for this house; the outside. Bramble, trees and some vines are overtaking this old thing. overgrowing it like a fairy tale. Maybe this place is cursed?
Hidden from the street by a coverage of bushes in a rural county.
The one that just passes by your window as you drive
Located on the not so south west end. Can’t even see it till you pass it.
Crumbling, built together with skill, still this home collapsed. It sits directly in front of train tracks.
Green shutters, busted windows, peeling metal roof and a front door securely chained. However, as you can see from the picture above, the back is pretty much wide open and nothing else was inside.
Catch a Tune
Nestled so lovingly below the road is this home wrought with items. Located along what was an ever growing area until a local bypass was put in.
A rigid piano tragically forlorn. A patterned and lean back chair. Walls that were not so well to absorb the bright blue hue of the walls. A tone completely uncaring emanating from within.
Furniture is completely strewn, torn, scattered or ripped asunder. Everything lays incomplete in piles bent, broken, busted or gone.
The outside is no less glamorous. No doors or windows remain or are never able to stay closed.
